Glyn's Tour Diary

WEEK 11

TUESDAY 14th June
A day off in Darwin. So we made the most of it. We spoke to the locals and heard their suggestions. Off to the Wildlife Territory Park, then onto the Jumping Crocs down Adelaide River. One of the local crocs Scotty was 4½ metres in length (not very big apparently!). All you can eat at the Casino that night finishing with some jazz jamming at one of the local bars.

WEDNESDAY 15th June
Nathan, Glyn and Nick had a workshop with some local students whilst the others soaked up the sun. Later in the day we made a trip to Berry Springs waterhole. A rather beautiful spot to swim. We made our way back and into the Darwin Entertainment Centre to set up for our show that night. Because we had an early show the search for food was easy.

THURSDAY 16th June
Our second day to chill in Darwin. We slept in, breakfast and then onto Litchfield Park. The best waterholes, waterfalls and swimming areas I had feasted my eyes on. The best water temperatures! After our water-full day we checked out the night markets - loads of food and artsy things to buy! Then onto another local bay to relax and unwind.

FRIDAY 17th June
Checked out and found some breakfast. Headed for the airport, checked in and spent the day flying to Brisbane and then back to Townsville. Once arrived we picked up our hire cars and made our way to the apartments. Grabbed some more food and off to bed.

SATURDAY 18th June
We had a short sleep in and then went to do some last minute publicity. Sold some more tickets and then lunch. Chilled for the rest of the afternoon and then bowled into the Townsville Civic Theatre. A big house and a good tight show. Because we have a lot of publicity once we hit Sydney the band needed to pack their gear into the taragos (including drum kit). Off to the Rhino Bar for food and then onto the local for some pool.

SUNDAY 19th June
Up early, checked out and straight to the airport. What a big load of luggage to fit on the plane this time! We made it without any problems of being overweight! Once we touched down in Sydney we packed up the taragos and headed for the Pacific International Apartments. Glyn, Nathan and Cassie drove to the Sydney Opera House for a last minute photo-shoot for a local mag. It was fun to be back at the Opera House. Off back home for food and an early night.

MONDAY 20th June Up at 6am for a bus to Newcastle. A half-day of publicity for next weeks shows. Once arrived we had radio interviews through to TV interviews. The theatre looked after us with morning tea and following that lunch. Packed up and shipped off to Sydney by 1pm and once arrived everyone parted ways and did their own thing!

WEEK 10

TUESDAY 7th June
We slept in and got up to our own plans throughout the day. Set off to the Moncrieff Theatre to unpack and set up for the show. The show was filmed that night so Nathan and Glyn could see how the show looked from the front. After the show they watched and made notes. By then 1:30am off to bed!

WEDNESDAY 8th June
Yet another long drive today (626km). The last long drive to Mackay. Funny as it was the drive went quite quickly. Once arrived we checked in, looked for somewhere to eat, found a second spot for a drink and a third for some pool! A good night out after a long journey!

THURSDAY 9th June
Sleep in and chill out day. Off to the Mackay Entertainment Centre where we played to a very lively audience which by the end were all dancing down near the stage on our encore! We set off to get some good Italian food and we were not let down. YUM!!!

FRIDAY 10th June
We checked out and found the nearest car cleaning place so we could polish up the Kia's as we had been using them for over a month. There was one hell of a lot of dirt on them! Moved onto the petrol station to fill them up and then straight to the airport. We said goodbye to the Kia's, checked our luggage in and boarded our plane to Cairns. Once we arrived in Cairns we were all instantly in holiday mode. We went out to eat and checked out the night life!

SATURDAY 11th June
Most of us slept in and throughout the day got our chores done - washing and show washing! These apartments had their own washing machine and dryer! Wash, wash and wash away! Some of the gang played a spot of tennis and finished off with a quick dip in the lagoon. Off to the Cairns Civic Theatre where we performed to a very big audience that dug our show and went along for the ride.

SUNDAY 12th June
We were up early on this gorgeous day. Caught a maxi-cab to the ferry terminal and set off to Fitzroy Island. Such a pretty place where the only things to do are snorkel, swim, sun-bathe, trek, drink and enjoy. We all went our separate ways to enjoy what the island had to offer. At 5pm we headed off back to the mainland. Most of us had tired ourselves out so we decided to do our own thing for dinner and evening. Some of us had some really yummy Indian that night too!!!!

MONDAY 13th June
Yet another beautiful day spent in the wonderful Cairns. Some of us shopped and swam down at the lagoon whilst others went onto more adventures. Later that day we packed the cars up and headed for the airport to catch our flight to Darwin. 2½hr flight and into the hot weather. 28 degrees just at night!!!!! Checked into our rooms and walked the streets for food.

WEEK 9

TUESDAY 31st May
We conducted some tap workshops today as the local dance schools were hungry for new work! After which we arrived at the Grafton Community Function Centre to set up for the show. The smallest space for us to perform on yet. Not much room for anything but as the show is so adaptable we made it work. The audience tripled in size and filled the theatre and they went off! After the show we headed to the 24hr roadhouse for food.

WEDNESDAY 1st June
Off by 10am for Narrabri. Quite a pretty drive through the hills and even some dirt tracks. The most amount of road works we have hit in one journey was this drive! Once arrived we chilled for a while and then made our own way to get food - some to the local pubs, others McDonalds!

THURSDAY 2nd June
Nathan, Glyn and Nick were out the door by 10am for publicity calls. First stop a primary school where a small demonstration followed by questions and answers was performed - they went off! 2nd stop was a secondary school performing for them on their lunch break - hard work. The last stop was a school in Wee Waa - quite a number of bookings were made after our demonstration. We ventured home for food and rest. We rocked into The Crossing Theatre and set up for the show. People poured in causing us to go up late - but a full house is always worth the wait!

FRIDAY 3rd June
The biggest drive for the tour!(700km) Funny enough it was quite an easy drive and loads to see on the way to keep you occupied. Once we hit Brisbane some of the gang went to the Valley for dinner and some pushed on to the destination of Nambour. For those in Nambour pizza was ordered in as the town was shut!!!! SLEEP, SLEEP, SLEEP

SATURDAY 4th June
After a good sleep in the gang was hungry and ventured into the slightly dead centre! We found food and stocked up on our own individual supplies. Dropped into the local pub to finish the afternoon off. We arrived at the Nambour Civic Centre and prepared for the show. A big space that became full very quickly with audience members. The audience went off. We packed up and cruised for drinks and food at Mooloolaba - this place was open and pumping! Good to unwind and finish the week off.

SUNDAY 5th June
We slept in and returned to the raging Mooloolaba for lunch, beach, shopping and chilling for the day. Good fun!

MONDAY 6th June
A lovely short drive to Bundaberg. Land of the RUM. Once arrived we all did our own things - movies, food, supermarket, walking and so on. Unfortunately Sun had an intruder in her room who managed to snatch her wallet - luckily nothing much in it. As you can imagine we all locked and double locked our rooms that night!

WEEK 8

TUESDAY 24th May
Off to Orange (234kms). Wow, quite cold up there! We stopped off at Katoomba - saw the Sisters and then through to Orange. Rocked into the Orange Civic Theatre with a rather huge stage - loads of room to move. A packed house and an awesome audience. The show went off and they cried for more!!!! Off we went in search of food and warmth.

WEDNESDAY 25th May
Short drive to Bathurst. Headed to the city centre for some brunch. The best Croissants - yum! We headed into the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre, unpacked our gear, reblocked our staging and got ready for an 8pm start. A smaller but lively audience - the manager of the centre, Stephen had organized a spread and drinks afterwards - such a great bloke. Off back to the motel to keep warm.

THURSDAY 26th May
2 shows today. 2 radio interviews, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon to drum up ticket sales. The 12pm show was full of school kids and the 8pm was a very happy audience. Yet again Stephen out did himself and organized yet another spread for the cast - yummy Lebanese food! We packed up and crawled into bed! Long long day...

FRIDAY 27th May
Back to Sydney. We stayed at the Pacific International in Bankstown. Some of us chilled and some checked out the Bankstown sights! We went to a small Chinese restaurant and feasted. We drove into the city to catch a movie - CRASH. A little depressing but we all enjoyed it. Back home where everyone CRASHed into bed!

SATURDAY 28th May
Again some more drumming up of ticket sales. Off to the local shopping centre for a little busking! Major changes for blocking as we bumped into the Bankstown Town Hall. Finished our last show for the week and headed into the city again this time for food on Norton St. Very good Italian food which everyone enjoyed, then off to Bar Broadway for some pool.

SUNDAY 29th May
We all got up to our own mischief!!

MONDAY 30th May
Another mammoth drive to Grafton - what can I say we drove and drove and drove (628kms). We were happy to see our beds that night!

WEEK 7

MONDAY 16th May
The big drive to Parramatta. Plenty of stops and loads of snacks. Nick had made a cd for each one of us full of music that we would dig - so when our music ran out, on went one of Nick's cds! Thanks Nick! As you can imagine the trip was long and a couple of rules were broken. Most importantly if you call shot gun then you must keep the driver awake and of course yourself!! No names need to be mentioned! So we arrived at the Waldorf and then off for food and bed.

TUESDAY 17th May
Up early this morning - off to the Kerri-Anne Show. Left at 6:30am. Loads of traffic and time consuming to say the least getting there. Arriving a little late - we sound checked and headed for the green room where the biggest spread of breakfast was awaiting us! YUM food at our doorstep for a change! We did the gig and headed back to the apartments. Got up to our own things (mainly sleep and groceries). Rocked up to the Parramatta Riverside Theatre, unpacked and got ready for an 8:15pm show. Small intimate theatre with the audience being the closest we have had! Straight home to enjoy our kitchens where we could cook our favourite foods!

WEDNESDAY 18th May
Nick had arranged tickets for the opening of Star Wars 3 for 12 midnight. So most of the BPM gang headed into the theatre to watch episode 1 & 2 (on our projector and screen) so they were up to pace for the midnights session! Our audience for the BPM show was a little quiet but we powered on, finished the show, packed ourselves into the cars and off to Hoyts. Queues everywhere but we had already ordered our tickets. We had our goodies and front row seats - eyes wide open and jaws hanging : Most of the gang got Krispy Kremes afterwards and in bed by around 4:30am.

THURSDAY 19th May
We all slept in and chilled. A better size audience with more enthusiasm.

FRIDAY 20th May
Off to drum up the ticket sales in the Parramatta business district. Finishing in Westfield's - 3 tappers, Nick and Adam. We drew many a crowd and handed the flyers out. The audience that night was bigger and cheerier again! Off for some good Italian food and back to the apartments.

SATURDAY 21st May
2 shows today. We had the matinee - energy pretty good - dried our clothes. Went back to the Waldorf - slept or rested for the 8:15pm show. We all dug deep down and managed to find the energy for the last show. Great audience which pulled us through - we were all stuffed. We packed up, said goodbye to the theatre and headed for the Albion for some stick and drinks. A good relaxing time for all.

SUNDAY 23rd May
A DAY OFF. What can I say we slept!

WEEK 6

MONDAY 9th May
Even better another day off in Melbourne. We were all up to mischief - some of us getting massages and others shopping!

TUESDAY 10th May
Off to Frankston. A nice short 72km. Quite a beautiful journey along the coast. Rocked up to the Frankston Arts Centre to find that we had a full house - 800 seat theatre!! It was great to be on a big stage again - room to move and a full set. A good, strong and tight show finishing with Adam McComb proposing to Vicky (his now fiancé). The audience loved it! We were starved and struggled to find food afterwards so off to the BP for snacks!

WEDNESDAY 11th May
Out early and off to Shepparton. A decent journey arriving around 1pm. We cleared the car-park and played hand-ball for a good couple of hours (the girls found themselves very sore the following day!). Off to the show at the Westside PAC. Another full house with a standing ovation. A BBQ was set for dinner and we all tucked in to some decent food, drink and a bit of a laugh.

THURSDAY 12th May
Yet another early start off to Wangaratta. Quite a pretty town. Apparently home to the prestige Jazz Festival where acclaimed musicians come from all over the world to perform. Off to the Wangaratta Arts Centre - a very small stage without any cross over, even outside was fenced. So we had fun re-arranging our exits and entrances - kept us on the ball! The audience sizes are being maintained and they are loving the show. We ate at a yummy café that stayed open for us - audience members were dining and congratulated us.

FRIDAY 13th May
Off to the home town of our Musical Director, Brett Canning - Wodonga. As soon as we arrived we ate and played some footy on the town square. We entertained the locals. The accommodation was rather swish, including dvd & cd players, a microwave and loads of space - we were all very happy : Off to the Wodonga Civic Centre which has been one of the hardest stages to perform on yet. We powered on through and produced a very tight and clean show to a packed out house of over 600. Low and behold Brett surprised us all as he walked into the dressing rooms afterwards! Said he couldn't miss this one in is home town! FOOD FOOD FOOD! We then ventured to Albury for some drinks.

SATURDAY 14th May
A decent drive to Griffith which seemed to take forever. The views were pretty at times. Off to get supplies, do our show washing and eat. So good to be back in a theatre again. The show went off at the Griffith Regional Theatre both from us and the audience. We met with the audience afterwards - some chatting and autographs. The locals told us to get some food from Belvedere's - always selling pizza late at night.

SUNDAY 15th May
A DAY OFF. We just chilled out in Griffith not getting up to much at all!

WEEK 5

MONDAY 2nd May
We checked out and made our way to Sale. We checked out the sights of Sale and relaxed!

TUESDAY 3rd May
Nathan Sheens and Glyn came up with a new mic holder for the tappers and with Anh's help (Glyn's girlfriend) built a prototype. Glyn used it that night and it worked a treat. The Wellington Entertainment Centre is quite a new complex and hosted an enthusiastic audience. Autographs to finish and food to find!

WEDNESDAY 4th May
We set off for Traralgon (home of Dallas). Easy short journey. Headed straight for the city centre as we needed brunch! Off to coles for supplies and back to the motel to chill. As this was Dallas' home town Glyn took the night off so Dallas could take the stage in the Latrobe Performing Arts Centre. A full house and a crowd loving every minute of the show. Loads of autographs to follow. Dallas invited us back to his family home for a BBQ and treats. A big spread and we made the most of the home cooking! YUM!

THURSDAY 5th May
We set off back to Melbourne. Once arrived we unpacked the ever filling Kia of all our luggage! We enjoyed the buzz of Melbourne and later set off to the Kingston Arts Centre in Moorrabin for our next performance. A rather large room and very hard floor. The crew had a bit of trouble getting the set in - lifting it up 3 flights of stairs!!!! The audience grooved and we approved. Some of the gang went out to enjoy the life of the big smoke!

FRIDAY 6th May
A small drive to Colac where it was freezing. Straight into our motel rooms to turn the heat right up! We ventured out for some food and checked the town out. Off to the COPACC Centre that night. A rather close and tight theatre with the audience. If you stood on the lip of the stage the audience could have kissed your feet - that close. Having said that we had the best sound that night and a very pumped audience! We were starved and searched for food!

SATURDAY 7th May
A morning we could sleep in at last! We all made use of our day, then left with plenty of time for Werribee. We unpacked and set up for the show in the Wyndham Cultural Centre. So good to have all 3 stages again as we have been playing in rather small venues as of late. Brett was in to check the show as Musical Director - he was happy and added his musical critique. A small but lively audience and some autographs to follow. A quick drive back to Melbourne where we had kitchens to make dinner!

SUNDAY 8th May
A DAY OFF. We all ventured around Melbourne! Then made our way over to Nick's family house! A huge BBQ with all the Greek traditional food. I think we all ate a little too much - all so good from salads to coffee!

WEEK 4

MONDAY 25th April
We travelled to Echuca - a beautiful river town. Loads of picnic spots, walks and paddle steamers!

TUESDAY 26th April
We all got up and saw different parts of Echuca. Dallas was replacing Glyn for tonight's performance at The Paramount so he could see how the show was looking. A couple of technical problems occurred but the show powered on! Off to McDonalds for a nutritional dinner.

WEDNESDAY 27th April
We packed and moved on to the grand Bendigo. So many big old buildings including The Capital Theatre which is quite gorgeous in and out! We tried to get downstairs rooms as we have so much luggage - even one floor hurts! We got lucky:) We had a tight show and a very excited audience. Asked the locals where to each and CLOGS CAFÉ was the said place to eat - yummy it was!!!!!!!

THURSDAY 28th April
Nathan and Glyn were up early teaching tap master classes to younger students in the morning and afternoon. We performed a second time in The Capital Theatre to an even bigger crowd - some of the students from the master classes turned up! A big show for a very receptive audience. We were tired out after that show packed up and some of us moved onto Clogs whilst others to the fast food spots!

FRIDAY 29th April
Up early and off to Ballarat where we had a media call in front of Her Majesty's Theatre - one of the oldest theatres in OZ. A good wake up call indeed. Later that day, a demonstration for a dance school with question and answers from all the students afterwards. A quick rest and off to the theatre for the night show. Such a grand old theatre - although we were all a little worried about how close the pit was!!!!! The audience loved it and showed by their ovation.

SATURDAY 30th April
On our way to Wantirna we drove into Melbourne and enjoyed the big city life!!! Was cool - some of us went to Chapel Street and others to the city. We also swapped our rental cars for Kia Carnivals - like Taragos. More space and comfort! Checked into the hotel and then off to the venue or High School Basket Ball Court!!!!! Set up and ready to go. A different show as this one had no platforms - everyone was on ground flooring! Something new!

SUNDAY 1st May A DAY OFF. We all ventured into Melbourne!

WEEK 3

SUNDAY
Most of us chilled out in our rooms and had time out!

MONDAY
We travelled to Warrnambool - a very beautiful coastal town. Good shopping and finished the day with ten pin bowling!

TUESDAY
We all did our own things and got up to mischief as the day went on :. Off to the theatre at 6pm. Nathan Sheens' first night back on. He strapped and double strapped his ankle not taking any chances! The Warrnambool Ent. Centre was quite deceiving from the outside, nothing much but on the inside this is a vintage, detailed and maroon theatre - gorgeous. The stage was a little small so we adapted the staging to suit and respaced. A good show and loads of autographs for the fans. Off to Pinky's for dinner!!!

WEDNESDAY
Checked out as usual by 10am and set off for Hamilton. Once we arrived we checked in and pretty much chilled and slept til 6pm. Dallas is learning Glyn's track - so good to have the opportunity and stress taken off you, thanks to Dallas! Once at Hamilton PAC we hit the stage for a sound check and could not help but slip everywhere on the stage floor - 'coke it' we said! Once the show had started we regretted having said anything - if anything it was slipperier than before. We re-staged as the show went on and stayed on our floors to avoid any possible accidents. Loads of autographs to finish the night.

THURSDAY
Off at 10am to Swan Hill. A long but scenic trip! The motel was quite cool as we had a big pool and area to chill in the sun. We had to get our show washing done - fun, thank goodness for a really big laundrette! We all had the night off and made the most of it!

FRIDAY
Most of us had interviews for Swan Hill radio in the morning and then Nathan Sheens and Glyn Gray conducted a master class for the Dance Force dance school - a wide range of abilities that learnt well. Off to the Swan Hill College which has quite a grand entrance to it. We had a tight show and many an autograph afterwards - loads of smiles and photographs. Pizza for dinner which was really satisfying - YUM!

SATURDAY
We checked out and drove through the wineries to Mildura. Such a pretty place with plenty of things to get up to! We made our way around the town finishing off with some buying of food supplies. Rocked up to the Mildura Arts Centre and got ready for our 3rd Saturday night. The show had a great vibe going on in the theatre - so good to finish the week with. A queue for autographs followed at stage door after the performance. We found a Greek restaurant with a chef who was willing to feed us - we were in heaven.

SUNDAY
A DAY OFF. We all slept in :) and saw what we needed to see of Mildura.

WEEK 2

SATURDAY
We all had a lazy morning - some of us venturing into Adelaide, some to the beach and some to the Laundromat! Such a glorious day it was very hot. We were called into the theatre early for re-spacing and blocking as the staging was a little different in Noarlunga College Theatre. A great audience to finish off our week with - loads of energy and enthusiasm!!! Once we had packed up the theatre we cruised back home for home made Dahl. Made by the wonderful Miss Sun Park! Very yummy. We ended the night by taking a stroll down to the beach where we lay on the beach and stared up at the stars.

SUNDAY
Our first day off. Alas it started very cold and rainy. As you can imagine we stayed in doors for most of the morning. Nick organized a BBQ lunch across the road on the cliff at around 3pm. Overcast and rainy! He made his special lamb original recipe and salad. Yet another yummy dish. Nathan S went off fishing and caught dinner - fresh fish and salad for a late night dinner. By the end of the day the weather was perfect. Not quite the day we wished for!

MONDAY
We travelled to Tanunda - The gorgeous Barossa Valley. So many wineries and the best weather. Checked into the motel and had a swim. The boys decided to play some hoop and unfortunately Nathan S went over on his ankle - nasty! So Mr Flowers was up. He covered well and allowed the show to move on at Brenton Langbein Theatre. By late evening Nathan S ankle was not looking good. Plenty of painkillers and ice that night.

TUESDAY
Up early for the school show which went really well. We picked a spot to eat in the wineries - not the best food unfortunately and went on to test some wine. Some of the gang bought some smooth, smooth port! We then moved onto Renmark. Arrived checked in, off to woollies, dinner and chilled.

WEDNESDAY
Had the day free to fill as desired. Most of us chilled out around the pool swimming and sun-baking. We really have had the best weather in S.A. Off to the Chaffey Theatre to set up and do some sound checking. Packed house and great crowd. We were all of to McDonalds for some nutritious food before it closed! Then back home for REST!

THURSDAY
The first day for a long journey to our next destination - Mount Gambier. Once again a beautiful drive and it didn't feel like a 7 hour drive at all! As soon as we arrived we went off to Woollies for supplies - chicken, salad and buns all round for dinner - Adam McComb of course had salad buns!!! Some of us watched a movie while most of us slept after the long day of travelling.

FRIDAY
2 shows today in the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre. We started with a school show - jam packed and they loved it. They were all up for our finale and encore! Great energy to wake up to. We were all starved after the performance and ventured off to The Gambier Hotel for food. Yum! Back to the motel to rest and then off to our 2nd show - packed as well. After we had some drinks with various S.A. representatives, more food and alcohol! Afterwards we treated ourselves to the irish pub next door were we danced and boogied away!

SATURDAY
Checked out at 10am and took orders for a Maccas Breakfast Run. Everyone was fed and we set off to Portland in Victoria. We said good-bye to S.A. as we crossed the boarder. Portland is back near the water. Once we arrived most of us rested and slept the day away after a rather big night the night before! Then off to the CEMA Arts Centre which is actually a civic hall. A good smooth show. Off to KFC for dinner and then back home. Some of the gang ventured out to see what was happening on Saturday Night in Portland but ended up coming home an hour later!

WEEK 1

1st FRIDAY & 2nd SATURDAY
Opening Night crept up on us all at the Clocktower Centre in Moonee Ponds. Great audience and vibe on stage! We chilled out with opening night drinks and met with some of the Mamma Mia crowd! The set was bumped out on Saturday night after our second performance at Clocktower.

3rd SUNDAY
The cast had a day off while the BPM beatsperminute touring truck was driving to South Australia.

4th MONDAY
The cast flew to Adelaide and then caught what we call a crop-duster (small plane) to Port Lincoln. Once arrived we picked up our rental cars that we will be using for the next 66 days and checked into the Blue Seas Motel! Pretty place right by the water. As you can imagine, being the first time the crew had put the show together since production week, it was extremely tight getting the set, lights and sound into the Nautilis Theatre in time for the 8pm show. We did it with a sound check at 7:45pm!

5th TUESDAY
We had a school show at 11am after which we had fish & chips by the water for lunch. After we packed the cars we set off to our next destination Whyalla. Quite a red & quiet town! We encountered a number of road works on the way so a lot of stopping, eating, drinking and dancing on the road! Once we arrived in Whyalla we checked in and moved straight to the bar for an evening drink and then dinner. A fun night full of entertainment - the grand piano was well used that night!

6th WEDNESDAY
We went into the town centre for brekky and then we all did our own things throughout the day. This time the crew had more time to bump in enabling us to rock in at 6pm to familiarise ourselves with the new venue of Middleback Theatre. The show went well and as soon as we finished we all helped bump out.

7th THURSDAY
We checked out at 10am and travelled to Port Pirie. Loads of beautiful landscapes - then out of nowhere these big tanks with posters and graffiti all over them. Once we arrived in Port Pirie we checked into the motel and chilled. Cruised into the Keith Michell Theatre at 6:30pm unpacked all our clothes, tap shoes etc for the performance at 8pm. A good audience! Pizza arrived after act 1 for everyone - if we don't get organized in these places everything is shut after 9pm! We didn't have to pack up afterwards so we could just leave our dressing rooms and switch the lights off!

8th FRIDAY
We checked out, packed the cars up and went into the theatre for our school show. We had a group of special needs people in the audience and they really dug the performance! The cast came out and met the audience after the show. Lots of autographs and handshakes. Then, off to lunch around the corner for these famous stuffed spuds - they were very good! In the cars we went off to Noarlunga. 3.5 hours which is our longest journey yet! We found out that Noarlunga is 30 mins away from Adelaide. We checked into the motel, which is right on the cliff of Port Noarlunga looking over the sea. We arrived in time for a sun set over the water and a couple of drinks on the balcony.
