Following the recent announcement of Playing Australia funding, Blackbird Productions are thrilled to announce that they have been successful in obtaining support for a 2005 national tour BPM beatsperminute. This tour is a major achievement for the independent production company managed by Matthew Henderson and Suzie Franke. Formed in 2002 the company who lay an emphasis on new works have produced a number of highly acclaimed productions. Earlier this year they toured BPM beatsperminute to the Adelaide Fringe Festival following critical acclaim and box office breaking seasons at the Sydney Opera House and Chapel Off Chapel. The tour will kick off in Melbourne at The Clocktower Centre and make its way through 40 venues throughout New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria with over 50 performances planned.
